About Privacy Policy

Dirigent.io ("Dirigent") is committed to protecting the privacy of all individuals who visit Dirigent website located at www.dirigent.io, which includes all subdomains, present and future ("Website") and use the Dirigent Services and Downloadable Products.

Digitaz Information Technology doo, ("Digitaz", "we") is mainly acting as a data processor when you are using the Dirigent Services (the "Services"). We are the data controller for the information stated in this Privacy Policy. If you are accessing and using the Services on behalf of a company, such as your employer or other legal entity, they are also the data controller for the processing of personal data that is not stated herein when using the Services.

This Privacy Policy explains what we collect about you, why and how we process this information.

Definitions

Dirigent Services include our Dirigent website and Dirigent software, but does not include any third party products or services that you may choose to integrate with Dirigent Services.

  • "Device" or "Devices" is any computer used to access the Services, including without limitation a desktop, laptop, mobile phone, tablet, or any other consumer electronic device.
  • "Content" or "Contents" represents any information or data that you upload, submit, post, create, transmit, store or display in the Dirigent Services.

  • "Information" is all of the different forms of data, content, and information collected by us as described in this Privacy Policy.

  • "Personal Information" refers to information that may be used to readily identify or contact you as an individual person, such as: name, address, email address, or phone number.

Scope of Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the information that we obtain through your use of Services via Device or when you otherwise interact with the Dirigent Services. By registering for or using Dirigent Services you are agreeing to the terms of this Privacy Policy. This is our entire and exclusive Privacy Policy and it supersedes any earlier version. This Privacy Policy should be read in conjunction with Dirigent Terms of Services and any additional applicable terms brought to your attention when you access or use the Dirigent Services.

Information Collected

Account and Profile Information: We collect information about you and your company as you register for an account, create or modify your profile, make purchases through, use, access, or interact with Dirigent Services including but not limited to, when you upload, download, collaborate on or share Content. Information we collect includes but is not limited to your name, username, address, email address, phone number or job title. You may provide this information directly when you enter it in Dirigent Cloud or downloadable software, or in some cases it can be provided by another user such as a system administrator or a workspace owner who created an account on your behalf.

Content: We collect and store Content that you create, input, submit, post, upload, transmit, store or display in the process of using trial Dirigent Cloud license or web site. Such Content includes any Personal Information or other sensitive information that you choose to include.

Other Submissions: We collect other data that you submit to our web site or as you participate in any interactive features of the Dirigent Services, participate in a survey, promotion, event, request customer support, communicate with us via third party social media sites, for marketing purposes, or otherwise communicate with us.

Web Logs: As is true with most web site and services delivered over the Internet, we gather certain information and store it in log files when you interact with our website and trial Dirigent Cloud services. This information includes internet protocol (IP) addresses as well as browser type, internet Services provider, URLs of referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, information you search for, locale and language preferences.

Analytics Information: We collect analytics information when you use our website and trial Dirigent Cloud services to help us improve our Services. As of date this policy went into effect, we use Google Analytics as an analytics provider.

Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies: We use various technologies to collect information, including cookies that we save to your computer or mobile device. We use cookies to improve and customize Dirigent Services and your experience; to allow you to access and use the website or trial Cloud services without re-entering your username or password; and to count visits and understand which areas and features of the web site and Dirigent Cloud services are most popular. If you do not accept cookies however, you may not be able to use all aspects of our website or trial Dirigent Cloud services. We also collect information using web beacons (also known as "tracking pixels").

Use of Information Collected

We use the information we collect about you for a variety of purposes, including to:

  • provide, operate, maintain, improve, and promote Dirigent Services;
  • enable you to access and use Dirigent Services, including uploading, downloading, collaborating on and sharing Content;
  • process and complete payment transactions and send you related information including purchase confirmations and invoices;
  • communicate with you, including responding to your comments, questions, and requests; providing customer Services and support; providing you with information about services, features, surveys, newsletters, offers, promotions, events;
  • monitor and analyze trends, usage, and activities in connection with Dirigent Services and for marketing or advertising purposes;
  • investigate and prevent fraudulent transactions, unauthorized access to Dirigent Services, and other illegal activities;
  • personalize Dirigent Services, including by providing content, features, or advertisements that match your interests and preferences;
  • enable you to communicate, collaborate, and share Content with users you designate; and - for other purposes about which we notify you.

We will not use your Personal Information that might appear in our Web or Analytics Logs for any purpose.

Sharing of Information Collected

We will not share or disclose any of your Personal Information or Content with third parties except as described in this policy. We do not sell your Personal Information or Content. You should be aware that the administrator of your instance of Dirigent may be able to:

  • access information in and about your Dirigent account;
  • disclose, restrict or access your Dirigent contents;
  • control how your Dirigent account may be accessed or deactivated.

We work with third party Service providers to provide website, hosting, maintenance, back-up, storage, virtual infrastructure, payment processing, analysis, and other services for us. These third parties may have access to or process your Information as part of providing those services for us.

You may choose to make use of third party applications in conjunction with Dirigent Services. When access is granted, your Content is shared with the third party. Third party application policies and procedures are not controlled by Dirigent Services even though the third party application may be available through Dirigent Services. Third party applications who have been granted access to your Content through remote scripts or Dirigent components could use this data to contact you and market services to you, and could share your data with other third parties. This Privacy Policy does not cover the collection or use of your data by third party applications, and we urge you to consider the privacy policies governing third party applications. We may disclose your Information, including your Personal Information to a third party:

  • to enforce our agreements, policies and terms of Services;
  • to protect the security or integrity of Dirigent's Products and Services;
  • to protect Dirigent, our customers or the public from harm or illegal activities;
  • if we believe that disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request;
  • to respond to an emergency which we believe in the good faith requires us to disclose information to assist in preventing the death or serious bodily injury of any person;
  • in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company;
  • when we have your consent to do so.

Data Storage, Transfer and Security

Dirigent hosts data with hosting Services providers in Europe. The servers on which Personal Information is stored are kept in a controlled environment. While we take reasonable efforts to guard your Personal Information, no security system is impenetrable and due to the inherent nature of the Internet as an open global communications vehicle, we cannot guarantee that information during transmission through the Internet or while stored on our systems or otherwise in our care, will be absolutely safe from intrusion by others, such as hackers. In addition, we cannot guarantee that any passively-collected Personal Information you choose to store in website or trial Cloud services are maintained at levels of protection to meet specific needs or obligations you may have relating to that information. Where data is transferred over the Internet as part of a web site or Cloud Product, the data is encrypted using industry standard SSL (HTTPS). Business process definition data and information used for interaction with third party applications are in encrypted form using industry standards.

Compliance with Privacy Laws and Regulations

You agree not to use the Dirigent Services in a manner that would violate laws protecting an individual's privacy rights, health or financial data.

Our Policy Towards Children

Dirigent Services are not directed to individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under 16 and in case we become aware that a child under 16 has provided us with Personal Information, we will take steps to delete such information. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact the appropriate support team.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We reserve the right, at any time, to modify or replace the Privacy Policy. Please check the Privacy Policy for changes periodically. If you disagree with any changes to this Privacy Policy, you will need to stop using Dirigent Services and deactivate your account(s).

Your Rights as a "Data Subject"

You have the right to obtain information about your personal data that we process. You have the right to:

  • request information about what your personal data we are processing and request a copy of these records (right of access);
  • receive personal data concerning you transferred to an another data controller (right to data portability);
  • get inaccurate or incomplete personal data corrected and in some cases request us to delete your personal information;
  • oppose the processing of certain personal data and request that the processing of personal data be restricted;
  • revoke consent for the processing of personal data if consent is used as a legal basis for processing.

If you do not make requests for information in writing, please bear in mind that we might ask you to provide the proof that you are who you claim to be.
